This is the boxer story of a dog named Tuff. Tuff was more than just this boxer's name.

I have a beautiful boxer boy named Tuff. He is now 15 yrs old and having some health problems. I have had Tuff since he was 5 weeks old and brought him all the way from Germany.
This is my baby and he is more like my child than my pet. I have had to have cancerous tumors removed and now is on steroids for his spine arthritis. I know with his age he will be passing soon but I can not bring myself to even think about that. I will be heartbroken for sure.
He just lost his sibling on Christmas Eve due to bone cancer. We now have a 5yr old Chocolate Lab and they get along just great. She is very respectful to Tuff as I think she knows that he is sick. My boy had never stayed outside a day in his life, always has been allowed to sleep in the bed with me and has been very pampered.

I had a boxer when I moved to Germany but could not take her because of her age. She was 17. I left her with my Mother but the vet told me she probably wouldn't last long because I was all she ever knew.
As you can tell by my letter I really love the Boxer breed and think that even with the health problems they are very much worth the time and money it takes to have them. I know a lot of Boxers do not live as long as mine has but would love to have him around for another 15 yrs.
